Teriyaki
Boyz is a j-hip hop group from Japan. Their first CD
from Def Jam Recordings/BAPE Sounds entitled Beef or
Chicken? was produced by a who's who of rap/electronica
producers including Daft Punk, Adrock, DJ Premier,
DJ Shadow and Cornelius.
The four members are Ilmari and Ryo-Z of Rip Slyme,
Verbal of m-flo, Nigo and Wise of Bathing Ape.
For their first album, the group teamed up with an
amazing production team. The producers are Adrock of
Beastie Boys, Cornelius, Cut Chemist, Daft Punk, Dan
the Automator, DJ Premier, DJ Shadow, Just Blaze,
Mark Ronson, DJ Michael "5000" Watts and The
Neptunes.
Their first single HeartBreaker, which was produced
by Daft Punk, is a slower version of the Daft Punk's
song Human After All.
Recently, they have finished the title track called
"Tokyo Drift (Fast and the Furious)" for the
American movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
